Mundvoll Café

I am having a serious love affair with this bar. The simplicity of the laminated plywood along with the colorful stripes, hanging metal boxes and strong angular form make me want to hop on a plane to Germany right this minute. Kudos to Joint Perspectives for designing such a lovely temporary space that invites people to linger and socialize.

Howdy-do!

Thanks for stopping by Belvedere! This is a new blog run by the designers and architects at Peter Fillat Architects in Baltimore, Maryland. We’ll cover all sorts of interesting tidbits on architecture, interiors, urban design, planning, our fair city, and other topics that strike our fancy.

Have something you’d like to see? Let us know and we’ll provide. We’re pretty agreeable that way. Leave a comment or shoot us an email at belvedere@pfarc.com. Our goal is to share good ideas, critique our environments, and explore the world with you. Stay tuned for all the good stuff.

Want to subscribe to these posts? There’s a button for that over to the right.

Know what else is over there? A place to “like” us on Facebook. So click on over and “like” us.

You can also follow me on Twitter by clicking on yet another button on the right (you may have noticed by now that we like buttons around here). There’s no button for this yet but you can follow Belvedere’s other contributors on Twitter as well. Their handles are:

And last but not least our company website is pfarc.com. Have a look around.

Until next time…
