 The project consists of an addition and renovations to the Dulles Hyatt, creating an efficient, flexible EMC facility. A 18,600 square foot addition houses a 10,000 square foot ballroom while existing interior spaces were renovated to create new meeting rooms and support spaces.  Qualified for a LEED Gold rating, this adaptive reuse project created a high performance three story urban loft-style office building within the historic shell of an 80 year old 24,000 square foot cabinet factory. Beneath the new topping slabs hydronic piping heats and cools the open plan spaces.  This 4-star eco-boutique style resort is nestled within the 36-hole championship golf course known as Queenstown Harbor. The property will have approximately 120 hotel rooms with 80 rooms in the main building and the additional 40 rooms divided between five two story Golf Villas.  The M on Madison is a 72 unit workforce housing building. Located at the corner of Madison Street and North Howard Street in downtown Baltimore, the contemporary styled structure is meant to serve as a beacon for the rebirth of the formerly grand North Howard Street corridor. The building is designed to incorporate sustainable design principles and is seeking “green” tax credits. [...] |
