The 300-room Tremont Plaza Hotel in downtown Baltimore, Maryland was renovated an rebranded by FILLAT+ as an Embassy Suites Hotel in 2013. In 2021, FILLAT+ was hired for a full-scale renovation and conversion to multi-family residential rental apartments. The existing retail space will be converted to a cafe/bar with a grand staircase connection to the updated restaurant located on the second level. Level 4 will feature a fitness center with an outdoor terrace with views of the city to the east. Levels 3, 5, 6, & 7, will all be converted to furnished hotel apartments with a private operator. 2 wedding suites will be built on the 5th floor, with skywalk access to “The Grand,” an event space next door under the same ownership. Levels 8-37 are being converted to luxury apartments with a penthouse level amenity space with a game room, pet spa, and sky lounge. There will be rooftop terrace and pool with panoramic views of the downtown and the harbor beyond.
