The 300-room Tremont Plaza Hotel in downtown Baltimore, Maryland was renovated for rebranding as an Embassy Suites Hotel in 2013. The lobby was updated with warm, modern materials and features a double-height focal wall with a water feature and plantings. Second-floor meeting rooms were demolished to create an open floor plan featuring communal areas and a repositioned restaurant and lounge bar which overlook the lobby check-in area below. The fitness room, existing outdoor pool, and deck were refreshed, as were the guestroom baths. A new steel and glass canopy was designed and installed over the entry.
